Welcome to Genuine News for 4th Quarter 2011. With the year wrapping up, here’s an update on recent highlights here at Genuine Music Group:

Producer DJ Khalil enjoying the early success of The Game whose LP for Geffen/Interscope bowed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Khalil on with two productions/co-writes “Drug Test” and “Ricky”. Khalil also received a RIAA 3X Platinum award for Eminem “Recovery” LP on Shady/Interscope where he produced/co-wrote 4 of the LP’s tracks. Also a Gold Single for producing “Kush” for Aftermath’s Dr Dre. Recently inking a worldwide administration deal with Universal Music Publishing with Senior Director Creative Jessica Rivera, Khalil is currently working on new LPs for Drake, John Legend, Dr Dre and Eminem.

Pro-Jay recently wrapped production/co-writing the entire forthcoming Robin Thicke LP for Interscope. This marks the fifth Robin Thicke LP that Pro-Jay has produced. He also recently received three RIAA Diamond awards for his production/co-writes on the now certified 10X Platinum release Usher/Confessions, Christina Aquliera debut LP and 2Pac’s Greatest Hits. Currently working on the forthcoming LP for Usher/LaFace/Jive Records.

Gregg Pagani checks in with yet another #1 single on Jive’s Charlie Wilson for his production “Life Of The Party” which recently took over the top of the Billboard Urban/AC chart. His prior #1 on Charlie Wilson was the 13 weeks at #1 single “There Goes My Baby”. Gregg also on UK legend Amy Winehouse’s god niece Dionne Bromfield with his Production/co-write of “Livin’ In Your Own World” from her debut LP entitled “Good For The Soul” on Universal UK.

Producer/Songwriter Damon Sharpe coming off his UK chart topping single “Get Outta My Way” on Kylie Minogue’s current UK Platinum LP “Aphrodite” on EMI. Damon also recently received a RIAA Gold LP for his writer contribution on the song “Nothing Even Matters” on the Big Time Rush LP for Nickelodeon/Sony.

Our Oslo, Norway based production duo Big City enjoying the current success of Norway’s Eurovision champ Stella Mwangi producing/co-writing her entire debut LP “Living For Music” on EMI. Opening up the American market, the duo recently checked in with a cut “Throw It Away” on Charlie Wilson’s current LP for Jive Records.

Copenhagen based producer/writer Ezi-Cut checks in with a co-production/co-write “Next Flight” on the Stella Mwangi LP for EMI.

Genuine is proud to announce the exclusive representation of Multi-Platinum producer/writers Organized Noize Productions consisting of Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown. The trio is responsible for numerous chart topping singles and albums from Outkast, TLC, Goodie Mob, Ludacris, Trey Songz, and Brandy as well as contributing to mega soundtracks Miami Vice, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Set It Off, Ali, Shaft, Home Alone II, Blade II, Barbershop and many more. Carlos “Carlito” Olivero putting finishing touches on his debut LP. Working with Genuine producers Damon Sharpe and Big City, Carlos is penning a stellar debut LP which has many dubbing him the “Latin Chris Brown”. Look for his viral video “Rain” featured on the Genuine site and look for his debut LP “Carlito’s Way” in 2012.

17 year old Caitlyn Taylor Love wrapped her 2nd season of co-starring in Disney XD’s “I’m In The Band” where she co-stars as rocker “Izzy Fuentes”. She is also the lead female voice of superhero “White Wolf” in the forthcoming “Spiderman” Cartoon series airing in 2012.

Genuine announces the exclusive representation of Youtube Hip Hop teen sensations “The Babydollz” whose debut viral video “My Cookie” is approaching 3 Million views independently. Currently in the studio with the Genuine production staff, the duo is preparing their debut LP.

Genuine also announces the co-representation with Nerraw Entertainment of 16 year old rap phenom Ace Primo. Ace has been featured on World Star Hip Hop and written up in 2XL as the Next One To Watch! Recently signed to Rodney Jerkins Darkchild label, look for Ace’s 2012 debut. See his viral video on the Genuine site!

Mixer News:

Mixer Rob Chiarelli enjoying his mix of the #1 Urban/AC single “Life Of The Party” by Charlie Wilson/Jive Records. Rob mixed the entire LP which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Urban LP charts. He also recently wrapped mixing duties on the current Kirk Franklin LP for Jive/Zomba which debuted at #1 on The Billboard Gospel charts along with his #1 single “Smile”. Rob also mixed half of the current Mary Mary record for Columbia Records. Rob also enjoying the success of the New Boyz on Asylum/Warner with his mixing the entire LP.
